In November of 2005, Cowboy left his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida where he had lived all of his life to pursue his dreams on the west coast. He purchased a mountain house in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. His house is a 3 story gambrel. He now lives in the house at the elevation of 5000 feet and shoveling snow & putting on tire chains are now a regular part of wintertime life. In the Summer of 2007, Cowboy began a series of roadtrips to discover California. He took lots of pictures and discovered many interesting and beautiful places. The albums from those trips may be accessed here: Trip 1: 6 days from Ventura to Shasta and Tahoe and the Eastern Sierra. |

Cowboy lived in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida for 34 years until moving to the California Mountains. From 1997 - 2003, Cowboy was a main force for Medical Marijuana legalization. He served on the Board of Directors for 3 Non-Profit Organizations, founded and organized the Annual Jacksonville Hempfest for 7 years, secured the rights of petitioners and political rallies by winning 4 key federal lawsuits against the Cities of Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, and Supervisor of Elections. Bledsoe v. City of Jacksonville Beach is one important ruling and has been cited in dozens of other cases. |

Cowboy was a famous activist and was the subject of numerous newspaper and magazine articles as well as TV news interviews and radio talk shows in Jacksonville and throughout Florida. He was awarded the High Times Freedom Fighter of the Month in May 2000. He was also arrested a number of times including during the GW Bush Rally in 2000 when he tried to drown out the Rally by using a professional PA Setup. A video of the incident is here. During the course of his activsm career, cowboy met with many important politicians and famous activists. Cowboy met with Florida Governor Jeb Bush several times to try and get him to legalize medical marijuana in the state. He also met with Corrine Brown, Jack Herer, Ann and Todd Mccormick, Jacksonville Mayor John Delaney, Norml President Keith Stroup, and many many more. |

Cowboy has been producing paintings, digital art, and poetry since he was a teenager. His art has been admired by friends, family, and strangers.
