SHROOM WIZARD'S GROW GUIDE VERSION 4.0

SPIRITUAL USAGE AND ASPECTS

“SPIRITUAL USAGE & ASPECTS”

I am a spiritual user (and worshiper) of the sacred mushrooms and I do not encourage the recreational use of these mystical fruits. If you wish to use these types of mushrooms for recreational use, that is your choice, but to me it is similar to rolling a cigarette with pages from a bible or eating communion wafers because you have the munchies. I believe that mushrooms were placed here on this planet as a tool for increasing man’s spiritual knowledge and to help bring them into a closer relationship with their master and creator. This chapter in my grow guide will hopefully clarify that point.

I am not out to "debunk" any form of organized religion or to turn anyone away from worshiping the God of his or her choice. I only want to share my thoughts with others and to hopefully open a few eyes and stir up some curiosity. I am not a religious person but I am a true Spiritualist. The way I look at it - Religion separates people into groups whereas Spirituality unites people in peace, love and understanding. Wars are fought over religions and more people on this earth have been killed in the name of God (under many different names) than anything else. If you think about it – It was religion that brought down the Twin Towers on September 11th.

I’ve spent a long time researching this subject and what I discovered amazed me so much that I wanted to share my discovery and knowledge with everyone I could.

You might ask, “How does someone have, and what is, a spiritual experience?

My answer is that there are several different ways this can be accomplished or looked at. Yoga or meditations are probably the most common and hardest ways I know of to obtain a spiritual experience, but it can be done. I find it very hard these days to meditate with airplanes flying overhead and cars going down the road outside with their super bass speakers shaking the windows in my home. I can see now why Tibetan Monks go up on mountaintops to meditate (because of the ultra quiet settings). Some people have spiritual experiences when something happens in their lives that bring them close to death – like a sickness or an accident. These near death experiences (NDE’s as they are called) are probably the most common things that make people change their religious or spiritual beliefs in a positive way.

Meditation and Yoga take many years to master, and nobody wants to come close to death (by accident or illness) just to discover that there is something other than life on earth in the human body form. But there is another safer, and much easier, way to experience spiritual ecstasy – the ingestion of entheogenic plants and fungi. Most of these plants are hard to find and don’t grow naturally where most people live, but the Psilocybe Cubensis mushrooms are very easy to cultivate and are totally non-toxic (meaning that it is nearly impossible to overdose on them).

I know from experience that the psilocybin mushroom is what I like to call an “Intention Drug”. By this I mean that whatever your intention is when you consume the mushroom dictates what you will receive from it. To clarify this statement a little better - I am saying that if you eat of the sacred mushroom to have a fun recreational experience – then that is what you will normally receive from it. On the other hand, if you take this type of mushroom with fear in your mind that you might possibly have what they call a “bad trip” - then that’s what you will get from it. But – if you ingest this type of mushroom with the desire to have a spiritual experience, and are serious in wanting it, that is what you will normally receive from it. The bible clearly states, “Ask and ye shall receive, Seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be opened”.

The ultimate spiritual experience is what they call a total Out-Of Body Experience (called an OBE). These types of spiritual experiences are what I shoot for every time I eat the sacred mushrooms. I will try my best to describe how I do, and how you can, experience one of these OBE voyages yourself.

It takes a little preparation to have a spiritual OBE with these types of mushrooms, but it isn’t as complicated as you might think. What I do find most important to have are deprivations, meaning you should do all you can to deprive your body of as many of your senses as possible. One of the easiest of your senses to block out is your sight. All it takes is simple planning to have your experience in a dark room at night (no lights on). Hearing is another of your senses that is quite easy to block out. Mostly what you need to do is turn off all televisions, radios, stereos and anything else that makes noises. Another big help is to turn the ringer off on your telephone or just unplug the phone wire in case someone decides to call you. If you have a clock in the room that makes a loud ticking noise – just move it into another room for a while. I find that tripping around 1:AM or 2:AM also helps a lot because your telephone isn’t normally ringing at these hours, people aren’t usually knocking on your door and traffic outside is reduced to a minimum. I also like to do this when I’m alone because other people being around can sometimes be quite distracting. They can sneeze, cough, move around the house, flush the toilet and otherwise make noises you are trying to avoid hearing.

You should also make yourself as comfortable as possible. I find that I have the most success being at home in my own bed where I feel safe and secure. You should also make sure it is a comfortable temperature for you in your home so you can be as relaxed as possible. For your soul, or your spirit, to leave your body you will need to shut your senses off to distractions as much as possible. So far we have learned to shut down most of our sight, hearing and touch (by lying in a comfortable bed). The next thing we need to do is shut down our mind.

At this time I want to jump in a put a little warning out. When someone goes on an out-of-body voyage it is very similar, if not exactly like, a near death experience (NDE). It is called a near death experience for a reason - because your body’s ego actually goes through a mock form of dying. The event is totally harmless to you, but to the inexperienced voyager it can be a very frightening thing. A lot of people mistake this loss of ego as being on the verge of death – but it isn’t. Just keep one thing in mind at all times – Nowhere in all of recorded history has anyone ever been harmed, either physically or mentally, by the ingestion of psilocybin mushrooms. Nobody at all - and chances are very good that you won’t be the first considering the tens of millions of people who have eaten them before you.

Now back to where I was. I’m assuming that by now you fully understand the importance of the darkness, silence and comfortable settings for obtaining a spiritual experience. The next step is to ingest your mushrooms. My recommendation is for you to eat between five and seven grams of dried mushrooms for your first try. You will feel the first effects beginning somewhere between 15 minutes and one-hour after ingesting them. It will begin with a sort of tingling sensation all over your body followed with waves of hot and cold flushes (which are not at all uncomfortable) and then joyful laughter. For the first hour and a half you can enjoy yourself by listening to music, watching television or just about anything you want to do because it is the peak of the experience where you want to devote yourself to achieving a spiritual experience. Even though mushrooms are spiritual tools, I see no reason not to have a little fun at first. I like to call psilocybin in the brain “Toys In The Attic”. Just kick back and enjoy them for a while.

Once you are ready for that spiritual experience it’s time to turn off all the lights, televisions, telephone ringer and music. Go lie down in your bed (in the dark) and make yourself as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Now just close your eyes and say to yourself (in your head), “God, show me what you’ve got. I don’t even know if I believe in you, but I’m willing to learn anything you wish to show me.” Now just lie there and watch whatever is being shown to you on the back of your eyelids. Usually it begins as multi-colored geometric shapes and designs floating and swirling around – but they are beautiful. Try to submerge yourself into watching the colorful patterns and try not to think about whom you are, where you are or what you are doing – just watch the psychedelic patterns. The idea here is to try to lose your ego (who you are) and any attachment to your body.

If everything is going right, your spirit will lift from your body and glide into, and become part of, the geometric patterns you are watching. A lot of people, upon experiencing this for the first time, will think they are actually dying (that’s why they call it a near-death experience). They jolt out of it real fast for fear they won’t get back into their bodies. When this happens it’s real hard to relax and try it again until the next time you eat the mushrooms. If this happens to you just recognize it as a close encounter and hopefully the next time you will be able to totally leave your body. I can’t hurt you – it can only frighten you if it even does that. All in all it’s pretty scary for some people when they feel their spirit drifting away from their bodies, but once you are successful in doing it the sky is the limit on what you can learn.

Once you are successful in leaving your body for the first time you won’t be afraid of it anymore and almost every time after that you will be able to do it again if you so desire. The more times you are successful – the more time (in minutes and hours) you can stay “out-of-body”. I personally can stay this way for up to two hours as long as nobody knocks on the door to wake me up (or any of the other 1,000 other possible noises bother me).
