SHROOM WIZARD'S GROW GUIDE VERSION 4.0

WORTHY TECHNIQUE NOTES

This is a last minute addition to my grow guide that will give you a few pointers to hopefully give you an added advantage of being successful with your hobby.

1.) I mentioned in my “INTRODUCTION” that I think everyone should use the “ALL IN ONE” fruiting technique, especially if they are growing mushrooms using either (or both) of the other two techniques I’ve covered in this guide.
When you fruit your mycelium, either with the “BUBBLE OR NOTHING” or the “LEAPING LIZARD” technique, your substrate cakes will eventually flush their last time and stop producing any more mushrooms. When this happens most people just throw the used cakes away and place more fresh ones in their aquarium.
I’ve found that you can take these “flushed out” cakes and slice them into four pieces, as described with my "ALL IN ONE” technique and get them to flush again. Just follow all of the steps in the “BUBBLE OR NOTHING” technique, but instead of using newly colonized substrate jars (as the method calls for), use your old “BUBBLE OR NOTHING” or “LEAPING LIZARD” cakes.

2.) Many people are concerned about odors or smells when growing mushrooms. I can ease your mind by telling you that there is absolutely no odor. I have never had anyone come into my house and ask me what that smell is – because there isn’t any.

3.) I do not use any artificial light when growing my mushrooms. Light shining through your window, even if blinds or curtains diffuse it, is adequate for mushroom cultivation. If you are wanting to grow in a dark closet I would advise you to turn the closet light on when you wake up and then turn it back off before you go back to bed.
